In this post, I explore King David’s lament over the realization of his sins.
Those that are after The Creator’s heart do not desire to lie, nor do they make a habit of living a deceptive life. They tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
Who are my enemies? How does God define enemies? Webster’s dictionary defines an enemy as a foe; an adversary; one who hates another, or dislikes, and wishes him injury, or attempts to do him injury to gratify his own malice or ill will; a public enemy or foe, is one who belongs to a nation or party, at war with another; one who is an enemy to truth or falsehood. In military affairs, an enemy is defined as the opposing force in war. The Hebrew word for enemies is “ʼôyêb,” which means an adversary or to hate. Let’s see what The Creator says about the subject.
In my deliverance, I have been purposed with helping to deliver others. I am likened to the abolitionist Harriet Tubman leading those who desire to escape the bondage of living in the lower states to living in the freedom of the higher states. The business of rescue often involves risking one’s life to save others.
