You Must Be Healed Sexually: Part 3

Oyez, Oyez, Oyez Daughters!

In part one of this post, I describe a dream in which I heard the words “You must be healed sexually.” Immediately following those words appeared the face of well-known, female Rhythm & Blues singer, Avery Sunshine. At first, I thought this was a rather odd dream. However, through prayer, I endeavored to know what was being revealed. In part two of the post, I covered what was revealed about the second half of the pseudonym Avery Sunshine. Initially, I thought this would only be a two-part post. However,  I continued to hear additional insights into the words of this dream. Daughters, here’s what I received to share with you.

As previously noted in my exposition of the movies The Color Purple and Harlem Nights, sex still remains one of the most effective distraction tactics against opponents at war. I hear King David’s words echo in my head.

“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”

Psalm 51:7 King James Version

In this verse, King David is lamenting over the realization of his sins. David had a man name Uriah killed. Uriah worked as a soldier in David’s army. Uriah had a wife named Bathsheba. David ordered Uriah killed because David impregnated her but wanted Uriah to return from battle to have sex with his wife so it would appear the child was conceived during Uriah’s visit home. Uriah was very loyal to David, so he declined David’s offer and stayed on the battlefield. After Uriah’s death, David experienced regret and shame for his actions. Also, the child David and Bathsheba conceived died. In his grief, David poured out his emotions in this Psalm, a sacred song.

“Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. For I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgment against me is just. For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there. [Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow]. Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me— now let me rejoice. Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt. Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you. Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves; then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness. Unseal my lips, O Lord, that my mouth may praise you. You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one. You do not want a burnt offering. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. Look with favor on Zion and help her; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit— with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings. Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.”

Psalm 51:1-19 New Living Translation

The words “Psalms 51"  appeared in a dream. These words appeared soon after I asked God to reveal how I arrived at a place of disappointment, desperation, and divorce. I asked God to forgive me for my sins and to help others forgive me for the sins I committed against them. This was the beginning of my washing and training process on how to hear God's voice. This Psalm became a tool used to reveal God's truth; not the world’s version of the truth. His knowledge, wisdom, and insight have increased exponentially ever since.

Verse 7 captured me. “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” I heard a call to explore in more detail why David requested God purge him with Hyssop. Hyssop was being used as a metaphor and allusion expressing the effectiveness of Hyssop's cleansing ability.  At the root of David’s sin was lust, which is generally recognized as a pathway to sexual sin. However, lust is more broad reaching. But, I’ll come back to that point shortly. Webster’s Dictionary defines purge as to cleanse or purify by separating and carrying off whatever is impure, heterogeneous, foreign or superfluous; as to purge the body by evacuation; to purge the Augean stable (requiring so much effort it almost seems impossible). David requested God divide and do away with whatever did not belong in his life, in all of its varied forms. He asked God to divide and do away with whatever was unnecessary. David’s prayer to God was essentially inviting God to uproot his life. Initially, I'm sure he didn't realize the magnitude of his request. This was a request for God to do a major overhaul in every area of David’s life. There would be no detail overlooked. I believe this is why David and Bathsheba’s child did not survive. The child they conceived together was unlawful. The woman with whom he conceived the child was not his lawful wife. Therefore every action henceforth nullified their relationship. The world will say, “But it was a child. Why would God allow an innocent child to die? That seems harsh.” Yes, it does to those who do not understand the enormity and seriousness of God’s commands. Please know I am not making light of a child dying, nor am I making a case to say that every child that dies is a result of some kind of sin. Consequently, this text shows God enacting a sentence or judgment in the court of his kingdom based upon His established legislation. This is very hard to digest. I know. But I speak to you as a messenger who has experienced the depth of his insight, and the rod of his correction. Knowledge and insight can save your life. God's words have saving power. He confirms this fact in the book of Hosea which states:

“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me.

[My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge I will also reject thee]

Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests.

[That thou shalt be no priest to me]

Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.

[Seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children]

Hosea 4:6 New Living Translation/King James Version

This verse is major! First, it confirms that God did, in fact, hear David’s prayer. His prayer was not ignored. His lamentation reached God’s heart although he had broken His heart by killing Uriah and stealing Uriah’s wife. I think it’s worth letting this realization sink in for a moment. This revelation is heavy.

David asked God to divide and do away with whatever did not belong inside of him and did not belong in his life in all of its varied forms, and he asked God to divide and do away with whatever was unnecessary.

David asked God to divide and do away with whatever did not belong inside of him and did not belong in his life in all of its varied forms, and he asked God to divide and do away with whatever was unnecessary.

David asked God to divide and do away with whatever did not belong inside of him and did not belong in his life in all of its varied forms, and he asked God to divide and do away with whatever was unnecessary.

As I reflect on this passage, I see everything that has been removed from my life. I see every unnecessary institution, ideology, belief, thing, place, person, image, desire, character, motive, and relationship fleshed out as a result of my purification process. David asked God six things before he arrived at verse 7. Let’s briefly review them.

  1. Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love.

  2. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins because I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night.

  3. Wash me clean from my guilt.

  4. Purify me from my sin because against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight.

  5. You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgment against me is just because I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.

  6. But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there.

We see that David asked for mercy and forgiveness, combined with a deep awareness and acknowledgment of how much he’d blown it. He confessed his failure without any excuses, flowery language or justification. It was black and white. David realized he had made a mess of his life with these choices. Period.  He acknowledged that God is serious about real honesty and transparency. He’s showing us that not telling the truth started at the time of his conception. Although the Bible does not provide specific details about David’s mother, I would consider that David discovered information about his origins at some point in his adult life. I would consider maybe his mother violated God’s command by his conception, just as he violated God’s command with conceiving a child in adultery with Bathsheba. He acknowledged that God wants the truth to be told from the place where life is created - the womb. The womb must be honest. It must be pure. Bathsheba’s womb was not honest. It was not pure. A womb is honest and pure when it is carrying the life of a child that was conceived in honesty; not deception or lust. I believe this was the merciful justice of God in David’s life. God knew the details of David’s birth. He knew the womb in which he was carried. Because God requires honesty from the beginning of where life is created and nurtured, He knew if that place was not honest and pure that everything else that followed would be a product of the beginning. We are the fruit of our beginning, and everything else that follows is exponentially multiplied.

“Now be fruitful and multiply, and repopulate the earth.”

Genesis 9:7 New Living Translation

We are the fruit of our beginning, and everything else that follows is exponentially multiplied.

We are the fruit of our beginning, and everything else that follows is exponentially multiplied.

We are the fruit of our beginning, and everything else that follows is exponentially multiplied.

Returning to the concept of lust, let’s see what God says about it.

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you have poured out your lust and exposed yourself in prostitution to all your lovers, and because you have worshiped detestable idols, and because you have slaughtered your children as sacrifices to your gods, this is what I am going to do. I will gather together all your allies—the lovers with whom you have sinned, both those you loved and those you hated—and I will strip you naked in front of them so they can stare at you. I will punish you for your murder and adultery. I will cover you with blood in my jealous fury.”

“When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.”

“They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity.”

Numbers 11:34 (King James Verison/KJV)

“And he called the name of that place Kibroth–hattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.”

Easton’s Bible Dictionary  defines lust as a sinful longing; the inward sin which leads to the falling away from God. Webster’s Dictionary defines lust as an eagerness to possess or enjoy, or the lust of gain. There are several words in both the Hebrew and Greek languages for the word lust. Strongs Concordance  references the Hebrew word shrîyrûwth as twisted, as in a twisted imagination, stubbornness or inflexibility. It’s root word shârar, means to be hostile, or to be an enemy. The Hebrew word châmad means to desire or desire greatly, to delight or take pleasure in.  Brown Driver Biggs  defines the Hebrew word nephesh as the breathing substance or being, soul, the inner being of [a person], activity of the mind, the seat of emotions and passions, activity of the will, activity of the character and activity of the mind. Its root word nâphash means to refresh oneself. The Hebrew word taʼăvâh means a desire, wish, the longing of one’s heart, appetite, covetousness in the bad sense, a thing desired, or an object of desire. The Greek form of the word lust is epithumeō meaning to turn upon a thing and those who seek forbidden things and to set the heart upon a thing rightfully or otherwise. Its root word derives from two words epi, meaning towards or upon and thumos including its root word thuō meaning fierce indignation; passion as in breathing hard, wrath, boiling anger, heat, and rush to kill or sacrifice. Epithumia means a longing, craving or desire for what is forbidden. Additionally, the Greek word orexis meaning excitement of the mind that is longing after, an eager desire, appetite used in both a good and bad sense, even lawful and proper cravings or appetite for food, and also corrupt and lawful desires. The word is derived from oregomai which means to stretch one's self out in order to touch or to grasp something, to reach after or desire something, to reach out after, or to give oneself up for the love of money. The root word oros means to rise or to lift above the plain, as in lifting above a hill or mountain. Lastly, pathos, this is probably where we get the English word pathology, derives from the word paschō, pathō or penthō meaning to experience a painful sensation or impression, an affliction of the mind, emotion, a vile passion, a feeling which the mind suffers, to suffer, or to vex.

Having established clarity on lust, we have a good foundation to begin uncovering the significance of David’s request to be purged using Hyssop. Hebrew word for Hyssop is êzôwb which means a plant used for medicinal and religious purposes. The Greek form of the word Hyssop is hussōpos and means a plant used by the Hebrews in their ritual sprinklings. In the book of 1 Kings chapter 4 verse 33, Hyssop is referenced as a plant "springing out of the wall.” The plant was used for sprinkling blood on the posts of the doors of Israelite people being delivered from Pharoah's Egyptian bondage in what came to be known as Passover. This act served as a sign the Israelites would be protected from the death plague as it passed over their homes.

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will strike Pharaoh and the land of Egypt with one more blow. After that, Pharaoh will let you leave this country. In fact, he will be so eager to get rid of you that he will force you all to leave. Moses had announced to Pharaoh, “This is what the Lord says: At midnight tonight I will pass through the heart of Egypt. All the firstborn sons will die in every family in Egypt, from the oldest son of Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, to the oldest son of his lowliest servant girl who grinds the flour. Even the firstborn of all the livestock will die. Then a loud wail will rise throughout the land of Egypt, a wail like no one has heard before or will ever hear again. But among the Israelites it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites.”

Exodus 11:1,4-7 New Living Translation

“They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the sides and top of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the animal [unblemished sacrificial lamb].

On that night I will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn son and firstborn male animal in the land of Egypt. I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt, for I am the Lord ! But the blood on your doorposts will serve as a sign, marking the houses where you are staying. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. This plague of death will not touch you when I strike the land of Egypt.”

Exodus 12:17,2-13 New Living Translation

“Then Moses called all the elders of Israel together and said to them, “Go, pick out a lamb or young goat for each of your families, and slaughter the Passover animal. Drain the blood into a basin. Then take a bundle of hyssop branches and dip it into the blood. Brush the hyssop across the top and sides of the doorframes of your houses. And no one may go out through the door until morning. For the Lord will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians. But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the Lord will pass over your home. He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down. “Remember, these instructions are a permanent law that you and your descendants must observe forever. When you enter the land the Lord has promised to give you, you will continue to observe this ceremony. Then your children will ask, ‘What does this ceremony mean?’ And you will reply, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord , for he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt. And though he struck the Egyptians, he spared our families.’” When Moses had finished speaking, all the people bowed down to the ground and worshiped. So the people of Israel did just as the Lord had commanded through Moses and Aaron. And that night at midnight, the Lord struck down all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sat on his throne, to the firstborn son of the prisoner in the dungeon. Even the firstborn of their livestock were killed. Pharaoh and all his officials and all the people of Egypt woke up during the night, and loud wailing was heard throughout the land of Egypt. There was not a single house where someone had not died.”

Exodus 12:21-30

It is paramount to note the Hyssop plant was used by the Roman soldier to give Jesus a bitter drink as he hung on the cross.

“Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty. A jar of sour wine [vinegar] was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. One of the soldiers, however, pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out.”

John 19:28-30,34 New Living Translation

The sour wine the soldier handed to Jesus using the Hyssop branch was vinegar mixed with gall. The vinegar was a light wine that turned acidic. The vinegar or wine was made bitter by mixing it with some other bitter substance such as myrrh, wormwood or poppy that would anesthetize the pain. Gall has several meanings all of which may have been used interchangeably in describing a type of bitterness. New Oxford American Dictionary defines gall as a substance secreted by the gallbladder, an organ beneath the liver. It is also defined as a sore made on the skin by annoyance or impatience because of a restriction or inconvenience. And, lastly, gall is defined as an abnormal growth formed on plants and trees, especially oaks, in response to the presence of insect larvae, mites, or fungi. I see this is as the origin or formation of diseases; abnormal growths or tumors, skin diseases, sexually transmitted diseases and the like because of the annoyance,  impatience, restriction, and the inconvenience of adhering to God’s commands.

“The Lord saw this and drew back, provoked to anger by his own sons and daughters. He said, ‘I will abandon them; then see what becomes of them. For they are a twisted generation, children without integrity. I will weaken them with famine, burning fever, and deadly disease. I will send the fangs of wild beasts and poisonous snakes that glide in the dust. Outside, the sword will bring death, and inside, terror will strike both young men and young women, both infants and the aged. Their vine grows from the vine of Sodom, from the vineyards of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poison, and their clusters are bitter. Their wine is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras. Look now; I myself am he! There is no other god but me! I am the one who kills and gives life; I am the one who wounds and heals; no one can be rescued from my powerful hand!”

Deuteronomy 32:19-20,24-25,32-33,39

They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.”

Matthew 27:34 King James Version

And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.”

Mark 15:23 King James Version

In a similar fashion, like the Hebrew and Greek words for lust, there are several Hebrew and Greek for the word gall. The Hebrew word for gall is mrêrâh  and mrôrâh which means bile from bitterness, poison or venom of a serpent. It derives from the word mârar  meaning to make or cause to be bitter. The prefix mar means bitterness, bitter oneself, be enraged, to be strong, bitter water or food, cry, pain, end of wickedness, of harlot’s end; to cause to trickle, a drop, flowing down, in the sense of distillation, the process of purifying a liquid by heating and cooling, or the process of extracting the essential meaning or most important aspects of something. The Hebrew word rôʼsh means a poisonous plant probably the poppy plant from its conspicuous head or generally poison including the poison of serpents. Additionally, the Hebrew word min mrôrâh means a part of bitterness, or from bitterness or out of bitterness. The origin of the preposition min comes from the Hebrew word mên meaning apart; hence a musical chord, as parted or separated into strings. The Greek word for gall is cholē and is associated with a Christian female from Corinth. I I Corinthians 1:11  notes members of Chloe’s household were divided and quarreling. The name Chloe means green or greenish hue. However, the word cholē means a poison, bile, bitter things, or an anodyne (Greek word anōdunos) meaning without pain which is not likely to provoke dissent or offense; inoffensive, often deliberately or a pain-killing drug.

Hyssop was the tool David requested to be cleansed. Hyssop was the tool used to extend Yeshua [Jesus] a drink to quench his thirst. David accepted the tool that was used to offer him bitterness. Yeshua declined the tool that was offered to quench his thirst. Bitterness was the tool used to purge everything that didn’t belong in David’s heart, mind, body, soul, life, and home.  This purging process also affected Bathsheba, David's wife. She lost a child. Bitterness was the venom left by a serpent. The sting of a serpent is deadly. The serpent hisses or whispers things in your ear that are contrary to God’s commands. The serpent was doing this beguiling dance with Adam and Eve in the garden. The man and the woman’s only task was to tend and protect the garden. However, if you want to remove a soldier or guard from his or her post how would you do that? You would distract the guard while you complete your mission of stealing, killing, and destroying. The serpent thoroughly surveyed and studied the landscape. He was very observant. He was strategic. He established the best location and time to attack and chose the guard with the least amount of strength. He saw that he could take down the weaker vessel - the woman. The serpent disarmed the woman through a seemingly harmless interaction - a conversation. Having a conversation is not sex, but for a woman, it is surely a doorway to sex. The serpent knew the man was not engaged. This is how the serpent was able to succeed in his plot to remove the garden keepers. The serpent’s tactics began with surface conversation which led to a more intimate conversation which caused the woman to spend more time with the serpent. The more time she spent with the serpent the easier it became for the serpent to twist her thoughts and her words. Now that the serpent had effectively destabilized the woman’s thought process and morals, he could effectively whisper a suggestion. The suggestion figuratively mixed a concoction like gall, the drink consumed by strong soldiers and the drink offered to those who were going to be put to death. The serpent successfully extended this bitter concoction to a suffering woman as a means alleviating her pain. What was Eve’s pain? We don’t know specifically. But we can surmise that she was learning how to tend the garden with Adam. She was learning how to navigate living with a man. The man and woman were given clear instructions. No further choice was necessary. But the serpent found a way to engage the woman in a dialogue that made her question the original instruction. The serpent knew her bewilderment was made possible by her ignorance of The Creator; the Chief musician that placed her in the garden with the man from whom she was shaped. The serpent was cunning. He was skilled in this area. The woman was naive.  She was green and inexperienced in the cunning nature of a serpent. Adam was still very new at protecting the woman and the garden. He was still learning as well. Although Adam was still learning the ropes, he was the strongest of the two in understanding the nature of navigating the garden. He was the first human The Creator placed in the garden. Naturally,  Adam was more experienced than Eve. Removing Adam and Eve from the garden is proof the woman’s innate structure was not designed to navigate the garden without Adam. The woman believed, she alone, could handle the conversation with the serpent. But the serpent was too crafty. Eve needed Adam’s experience. Adam needed to intervene so the serpent could see Eve was protected and could not manipulate her naivety. The woman needed Adam to show up and kick the serpent out of the garden!

The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’” “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.”

Genesis 3:1-6 New living Translation

There was and still remains only One being more powerful than both the man and the woman who can take-down the serpent.

There was and still remains only One being more powerful than both the man and the woman who can take-down the serpent.

There was and still remains only One being more powerful than both the man and the woman who can take-down the serpent.

Because the man did not protect the naive woman from the serpent, he was removed from the garden along with his wife. The man failed to teach the instructions the Creator gave him to his wife. The man knew how to identify each creature in the garden; he named them! This means he had the skills set to identify the traits of each creature. A name represents the character. Adam knew the character of each living creature in the garden. The garden illustrates that we are all connected to all living organisms on the earth. Adam’s sin was he did not follow the initial instruction. He was instructed to tend the garden, including Eve. Eve’s sin was that she did not know the character of the one who gave the instruction, and she did not stop the conversation with the serpent to allow Adam to handle the serpent. Eve’s independent spirit, a blessing in context, was a curse out of context. Eve not fully knowing the instructions or the instruction giver caused both her and Adam to fail. Daughters, if a serpent begins a conversation with you, run, don’t walk. Go and get your husband! If you are not married, run to your Heavenly Father. This triple braided chord is your protection. Never ever untie it. Never. Ironically, when The Creator put a foundation in place, there was no vegetation on the earth. From experience, we know that plants and vegetation need assistance. Some plants grow wild, but many need to be cultivated. At this realization, Adam and Eve became a team in cultivating the earth.

“This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth. When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the Lord God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil. Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land. Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”

Genesis 2:4-9, 15-24 New Living Translation

As I reflect on the magnitude of Psalms 51, I had no clue God was going to take me on an amazing journey to experience to discover treasures in His word. Amazing! I remember saying to God "I need you to break it down to me like I'm a three." I needed God to make His words plain because I couldn't build on fairy dust. I asked God to explain to me the concept of His kingdom and the concept of faith. I believe He has delivered a million times over. The Creator’s wisdom is beyond extraordinary. Daughters, I am proof. The Creator revealed to me the sordid details of my sins and how they came to be. Now, He’s called me to share with you the gift of His knowledge, wisdom, and discernment. He’s called me to share the gift of His salvation through these expositions. Through David’s song, I see I was very naive. I was green in the matters of life, men, sexuality, and the schemes of the adversarial spirit; the serpent. Tasting forbidden fruit is very bitter. It leaves a taste in your mouth that you never want to taste again. It’s an experience you don’t want anyone else to have as well, not even your worst enemy. Jesus refused the drink. He knew just how bitter it could be. The soldiers used Hyssop branches to serve Jesus poison to quench his thirst, anguish, and grief. There is absolutely nothing about this drink that quenches anyone’s thirst or relieves suffering. Jesus [Yeshua] knew this and refused to be anesthetized with poison. He chose to endure the pain of the salvation process. Psalm 51 opening with David’s salutation, “To the Chief Musician, A Psalm of David," is a beautiful reminder that The Creator is deeply involved in the process of creating every sacred song; even the bitter ones.

A Prayer of Awareness of The Creator’s Order

And may [Yahweh, Jehovah Elohim, The Creator, I AM, Redeemer, Source of All Truth, Father of Lights, Heavenly Father, Deliver, and Shepherd]

May you continue to provide all that I need.

May you continue to let me rest in green meadows.

May you continue to lead me beside peaceful streams.

May you continue to renew my strength.

May you continue to guide me along right paths, bringing honor to your name.

Even [in the midst of the darkest valley, May you continue to help me not be afraid, please stay very close beside me.

May your rod and your staff continue to protect and comfort me.

May you continue to prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.

May you continue to honor me by anointing my head with oil.

May you continue to allow my cup to overflow with blessings.

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will continuously pursue me all the days of my life, and May I continue to live your house, the house of Yahweh forever.

Psalms 23:1-6 New Living Translation

And so shall it be.

You Must Be Healed Sexually: Part 1

Oyez, Oyez, Oyez Daughters!

“When Jesus [Yeshua] saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?”

Luke 13:12,16 New Living Translation

In a dream, I heard the words “you must be healed sexually,” and then appeared the face of well-known, female R & B singer, Avery Sunshine. At first, I thought this was a rather odd dream. However, through prayer, I endeavored to know what was being revealed. Here’s what I received to share with daughters.

Avery Sunshine is a pseudonym which comprises a blend of two female movie characters, Shug Avery and Sunshine. Shug Avery (“Shug”) is a character from the movie “The Color Purple,” and Sunshine is a character from the movie “Harlem Nights.” The premise behind the name The Color Purple is that the color purple is such a beautiful and powerful color it cannot be ignored, and Harlem Nights illustrates that sex is still the most effective distraction tactic against opponents at war.

“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.”

The Color Purple (Film), Shug Avery (Margaret Avery) 1985

How can one walk past a purple flower and not acknowledge its beauty? The beauty of the color is, in fact, a call to be seen and loved. Beauty is a call. It is a form of communication. We see this idea play out in the biblical narrative of Esther

“This man had a very beautiful and lovely young cousin, Hadassah, who was also called Esther. When her father and mother died, Mordecai adopted her into his family and raised her as his own daughter.”

Esther 2:7 New Living Translation

Esther is the Hebrew word ʼEçtêr which means “star.” Esther’s beauty caused her to stand out and be selected as King Ahasuerus’ wife. Esther becomes a heroine that intercepts the adversary's plot to destroy the chosen people. Esther’s people were targeted because of their adherence to Yahweh’s commands. Esther’s husband King Ahasuerus had given a decree to exterminate all Jews. However, when he married Esther, her Jewish nationality and family background was not disclosed to him under advisement from her cousin Mordecai. Consequently, being selected as King Ahasuerus' wife was going to place Esther in an uncomfortable position where her cousin Mordecai would ask her to risk her life to save her people. In God’s hands, Esther’s beauty was going to be the tool He would use to cause King Ahasuerus to rescind his orders to exterminate the Jews.

“And the king loved Esther more than any of the other young women. He was so delighted with her that he set the royal crown on her head and declared her queen…”

Esther 2:17 New Living Translation

Ironically, like Esther, Shug also became a heroine. Shug was a prodigal daughter; a famous juke-joint singer with seemingly lesbian tendencies, and estranged from her preacher father. It appeared her father disowned her because of her lifestyle. She was rumored to have a promiscuous lifestyle being referred to as having “that dirty woman’s” disease.” She would also drink and cuss. Although she had various sexual experiences, she got married to a man hoping it would make her father accept her. It did not. Amidst a series of interwoven themes, we see the beauty of this story come alive in Shug’s relationship with Ms. Celie. Shug is the character that connects us to Ms. Celie. Celie had low self-esteem generating from years of sexual abuse at the hands of her step-father and husband. Celie was married to Mister, also known as Albert; a man who didn’t have any natural affections for Celie. Albert actually desired Celie’s sister, Nettie. He thought Celie was unattractive and treated her badly. He often abused and disrespected her. Shug was actually one of Albert’s old flings who was performing in town. Albert invited Shug to stay with him at his home with him and his wife, Celie. However, he failed to mention to Celie that Shug was more than a friend. Under “normal” circumstances, Shug and Celie would have been adversaries. However, Shug and Celie became more than friends and developed a relationship that bordered on slightly romantic, thus introducing Celie to her first encounter of “falling in love.” Shug helped Celie find her voice, and ultimately, the courage to leave Mister.

Control, manipulation, fear, insults, and self-hatred are a few behavior traits that describe narcissists. I’d definitely characterize Mister (Albert) as a narcissist. Albert was still seething over the fact that he wasn’t able to marry Celie’s sister, Nettie. When Albert asked Nettie’s father for her hand in marriage, Nettie’s father declined his offer and offered him, Celie. Celie’s father had already abused her body, stolen her innocence, and impregnated her with several children. He had already defiled Celie, so he was happy to give her away. Mister was still angry about being given Celie to marry. So much so, that he instilled fear in Celie so she would never check the mailbox. Shortly after Celie married Mister, Nettie left town and promised Celie that she would write to her every day and that “nothing could keep her from it.” Mister knew Celie and Nettie had a close relationship, so he devised a plot to intercept Nettie’s letters to Celie. He told her he rigged the mailbox, threatened her, and told her he’d know if she tried to check the mailbox. Albert knew Nettie loved Celie. Although he didn’t love Celie, apparently he didn’t want anyone else to love her either. Later in the story, we find out that the man that gave Celie away in marriage to Mister was not Celie’s biological father. Her “real” father passed away years prior and left an inheritance to Celie’s mother. However, Celie's mother must have gotten remarried to the man that Celie thought was her father. Upon Celie’s step-father’s death, she discovered an inheritance was awaiting her.

An inheritance was waiting, but she was unaware. It was always there. She endured years of mistreatment and abuse because she didn’t know the truth. She didn’t know the truth.

An inheritance was waiting, but she was unaware. It was always there. She endured years of mistreatment and abuse because she didn’t know the truth. She didn’t know the truth.

An inheritance was waiting, but she was unaware. It was always there. She endured years of mistreatment and abuse because she didn’t know the truth. She didn’t know the truth.

Daughters, The Father has an inheritance waiting for you.

Many years passed before Celie’s circumstances would reveal the truth. Following Celie’s divorce from Mister, Celie inherited a house and a tailor shop. She finally had her own home and a means of earning income outside of being used by Mister for sex, restoring his status, and serving as his maid. Like Celie, our beloved protagonist in this story, Albert also has a back story worth mentioning. Insight into the mind of an adversary is worth unveiling in an attempt to further understand the full landscape by which darkness operates. Everyone is at risk until the truth is revealed. Celie was given to Albert, a man was still mourning the loss of his wife. I suspect Mister went looking for a wife in Celie's sister, Nettie because his father told him that's what he "should" do because he needed a woman to help him take care of his house, cook his meals, and care for his children. Though he secretly longed in his heart for Shug, I suspect he got married out of obligation, and when he saw how beautiful Nettie was he figured she’d fit the bill, but ended up “settling” for Celie instead. He didn’t take on a wife out of love, but out of obligation, and lust. I believe grief and lust were at the root of what caused Albert to marry. His wife was deceased. His mistress Shug was living her life as a juke-joint singer and wasn’t interested in becoming his wife. Now, the stage was set for an adversarial spirit to use Albert's grief to do his bidding for darkness. Albert was sexually attracted to Nettie. However, Nettie rejected him. He knew he couldn’t have sex with Nettie unless he married her. So he made plans to ask Nettie’s father for her hand in marriage. The father declines Albert’s offer stating that she’s the pretty, smart daughter. He would not let Albert have her. The father moves forward with "selling off" the least attractive daughter to Albert, a grieving, lustful man with no genuine love in his heart for Celie. What I find interesting is that Albert was asking a man that wasn’t Celie’s biological father for her hand in marriage. Only a father can give permission to a man to marry his daughter. Only a father is authorized to enact covenants. This man who was “playing” the role of a father was not authorized and therefore was out of order in giving away Celie to Mister. Celie didn’t belong to him. This is the first lie that is revealed. A real father does not give away his daughter to a stranger. I see the name “Mister” as an allusion to the idea this man was, in fact, a stranger to both he and Celie. Celie’s step-father did not love her. Albert did not love Celie. He did not know her, nor did he desire to know her. The next truth that is unveiled is that Celie’s mother never disclosed to her daughter the truth of her origins. Celie’s mother kept the true identity of Celie’s father a secret. This secret caused Celie to believe that the man that sexually abused her was her biological father. He was not. So what we uncover here is the exchange of one lie for another. Celie is no longer a victim of incest but is actually a victim of deception committed by her mother and step-father. The tragedy is that Celie carried within her the guilt of believing the children she bore with her step-father were also her brothers and sisters.

“…Then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?”

Genesis 27:45 King James Version

Deception, like every other sin, finds its origins in families where someone violated The Creator’s instructions and attempted to disguise the infraction in an effort to save oneself from loss. Herein lies the temptation of sin. As my friend, Kimberly Johnson would say, “people do things for two reasons: either to obtain pleasure or to avoid pain.”

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.”

Hebrews 4:13 New Living Translation

This sordid tale reminds me of a similar story in the book of Genesis, where Jacob’s mother, Rebekah wanted to ensure the birth rite blessing for her youngest son Jacob. So, Jacob’s mom orchestrated a coverup to present Jacob to his father Issac as if he was the eldest son Esau. Jacob and Esau were twins. Jacob’s name means deceiver; one who undermines. The wife deceived her husband by using the children as pawns. Through this plot, Jacob’s mother creates a hostile and deceptive environment. Sin affects everyone, and cannot be compartmentalized. We are all connected!  If Jacob grew up seeing this behavior in his home, it’s safe to assume he made choices as an adult out of the wounds of his environment. A deceptive spirit can run in families. Jacob’s father Issac also had a bout with deception just like Issac’s father Abraham. Jacob also experienced the fruit of deception at the hands of his mother’s brother Laban who deceived him. Laban tricked Jacob into working for him for seven years to obtain Rachel, the woman he loved. However, Laban tricked him and offered him his least attractive daughter Leah. Jacob ultimately worked for Laban for fourteen years and “settled” for a woman he did not love. Albert and Jacob are two peas from the same pod. They both agreed to something foolish out of lust and obligation. Deception appeared to be an ongoing theme on both sides of the family tree. Could it be that a deceptive spirit was the generational curse both sides of the family needed to reveal for the family to be fully healed?  The Color Purple along with all biblical narratives interestingly points to Yeshua/Jesus delivering people from lives of bondage.

Furthermore, we see an intricate strategy God used to turn these very wrong situations right-side up. Shug is the conduit linking us to the climax of deliverance and redemption. Mister loved Shug and everyone knew it, even Celie. However, Shug knew the truth about Albert. She knew Albert loved her. But she lacked respect for him. This man had two women living in his home in deception, and he was okay with it. Shug used him to meet her needs, just like Albert used Celie to meet his. We all know this situation was not appropriate on many levels. But this inappropriate situation became the class by which both Celie and Shug would learn what they needed to know. Celie admired Shug and fell in love with her. Shug and Celie's friendship helped each other heal. Both Shug and Celie entered marriages that helped them unravel years of lies to arrive at the truth. Ultimately, Shug’s failed marriage reunited her with her father. Celie’s failed marriage prepared the way for her to know the truth about her biological father and her inheritance.  When Shug uncovered Albert’s deception of hiding Nettie’s letters, Celie realized Mister had been strategic in his plot to rob her of her sister’s love even through Nettie's letters. Celie got angry and wanted revenge. But Shug helped Celie find a better way to handle Mister’s deception. She helped Celie with an exit strategy.  Celie "came to herself" and received the courage to leave what should have never been. The marriage to Mister was unlawful from the beginning. How can you give away that which didn’t belong to you in the first place? Also, what father gives away his daughter to a man that initially asked for another woman, and then agreed to “settle” on another daughter? Again, what father gives away his daughter to a man that doesn’t love her? Not a real father. This entire narrative brings to light the idea that a title does not guarantee fulfillment. It’s also worth noting, not every person who birthed a child was authorized to be a parent at the time the child was conceived. However, God is sovereign. Nothing goes to waste. He uses everything to bring his sons and daughters into the knowledge of the truth.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

Romans 8:28 New Living Translation

Upon uncovering Mister’s deception, Celie warned Mister that anything to which he put his hands would ultimately fail. Until he corrected his wrong, he would experience loss, lack, and failure. Celie was warning him to repent. After Mister witnessed the effects of Celie’s admonition his heart softened and he was allowed to see the error of his ways. Time and a softened heart moved Mister to make arrangements for Celie and Nettie to be together again. God had moved Mister’s heart to release the anger he was harboring to allow Celie to be reunited with real love.

Daughter, woman, wife, it is not in The Father’s character to have you spiritually bound, begging for affection, tied-up in cycles of abuse, disrespected, deceived, pimped, dishonored, fearful, a nervous wreck, used, manipulated, or controlled. The spirit that is at the root of this binding is not from the kingdom of the Father of Lights. That spirit is from the kingdom of darkness; an adversary against the light. You can tell a tree by its fruit. What fruit is on display in that situation? Be honest. Tell the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Don’t ignore it. This day you can choose. Be healed of the act. Be loosed.

“…He saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight. Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God! When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?” This shamed his enemies, but all the people rejoiced at the wonderful things he did. He also asked, “What else is the Kingdom of God like? It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.

Luke 13:11-13,16-17,20-21 New Living Translation

Lastly, it’s no coincidence the above- referenced passage is found in the book of Luke. Loukas is the Greek translation for the name Luke, which means light-giving. Luke was also said to be a physician. In part two of this post, I will reveal insights about the second part of the pseudonym, Avery Sunshine.

And so it shall be.

So Others May Eat: Letter 2

Oyez, Oyez, Oyez…Save The Daughters!

A town crier dates back to the 18th century, and is one who makes public pronouncements in the streets on behalf of the courts. Tradition esteems the town crier as one who rings a handbell and shouts the words “Oyez, Oyez, Oyez” before making the announcements. Oyez means “hear ye” which is a call for silence and attention. According to, the town crier tradition inspired the early beginnings of the newspaper. Thus, the term “posting a notice” derives from the town crier tradition. Temika Moore: Shining A Light With Pen And Mic is a reimagined 21st century town crier posting notices on behalf of the court of truth as commissioned by I AM, The King, The Creator, The Source, The Redeemer, and The Father to every woman asking, seeking, and knocking to know The Truth.

In a dream one night I heard the words “Temika, you are broken. You need help.” These were the words I heard after getting engaged for a second time. At the time I did not have a full interpretation of this dream. It would take almost four years for me to understand fully why I had that dream and what it meant. I will reveal to you what The Source of All Truth revealed to me about that engagement, along with insights on my marriage(s) in an upcoming post. However, on January 6, 2019, the Holy Spirit directed me to write this post. The Creator, Source of All Truth is serious about rescuing and redeeming women from the original curse brought about by naivety and the subtlety of deception.  I heard in my spirit these words, “the adversary’s reign is done.” I also heard the words “It is finished.” The Source of All Truth was leading me to remove the powers of shame, guilt, condemnation, and darkness by “displaying my sin on a cross” for all to see in the same manner Yeshua was hung on a cross; bloody, beaten and battered for all to see. Sin is not pretty. Sin is costly. Sin is a bloody business. Sin is death. Death can be short or it can be protracted. But the fact still remains, sin has a judgment day. The Creator’s words are true. His written word, as outlined in the book we know as the Bible, is a tool for restoring the earth to the original state The Creator intended.

“Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us [the] truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17 The Message Version

In my deliverance, I have been purposed with helping to deliver others. I am likened to the abolitionist Harriet Tubman leading those who desire to escape the bondage of living in the lower states to living in the freedom of the higher states. The business of rescue often involves risking one’s life to save others. Over the next several posts you will have an opportunity to glean my process of repentance, deliverance, and redemption. These posts are entitled, So Others Might Eat. The Hebrew word for “eat” is ʼâkal. It means to consume, take in, digest, devour, and slay. I share The Creator’s instructions, words, revelations, insights, unveiling, and discoveries for the benefit of providing sustenance to anyone who is hungry. A feast has been prepared. The table is set. Through these posts, you are invited to dine with the presence of a Holy Creator. This is Holy Communion. Bread will be broken (i.e. God’s word’s divided, separated, and processed), and wine shared (i.e. the fruit of character produced by being pressed into digestible liquid form), all done in remembrance of the Savior and Deliverer, Yeshua/Jesus/Immanuel/Son of Man/The Anointed, and Sacrificial Teacher.

I am reaching out to you because I love you. I love you as my family member, brother, and or sister in the family of believers. I love you because The Most High God said that all of his commandments are on display for ALL people to see in following these two instructions:

1. Love God with all your will, intellect and emotions; AND

2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 22:37-40 New Living Translation

He said if we do these two things, we have actually fulfilled all of his commandments. He also said to “owe nothing to anyone - except for your obligation to love one another.” Romans 13:8 (New Living Translation) Well, I have a debt I must pay to you. I am heavy with the weight of carrying this message, so I will cut to the chase.

I heard the word “inappropriate.”

I saw two dogs; one dark and one light. They were both females. The dark one started making humping motions toward the light one. Shortly thereafter, the light one started to do the same. Both dark and light had been infested.

I heard The Most High God show me an illustration through what he created; the night sky and the stars. As I stepped out of a light blue vehicle feeling heavy from sharing information that I was instructed to publicly share via the inter-network or internal network aka the internet, I was standing outside the light blue vehicle in front of a dwelling place. He told me “this is the fulfilment of the cross - sin being manifested (the infestation of man) hanging, on display for everyone to see. I weeped.

He also said now you will know my true name - The Truth. I am going to replace every instance of the word God moving forward in this message with the word - The Truth.

As I weeped in that moment with the weight of the image of all our sins, especially my sins on display for all to see, he immediately encouraged me and led me to look up into the dark, deep blue night sky. I saw stars sparkling like never before. He said to me my stars are lights that light up the darkness. As I looked up at the sky and saw the enduring night sky, He said darkness is vast, it is deep. It is far reaching. My stars glisten amongst the expanse of the darkness. What resonated in my soul bringing me to joy is the confirmation He gave me that he was pouring a new foundation, a new creation, and that I am a part of the light he has placed in the deep, dark night sky.

After He confirmed his message, he revealed to me and assigned me to write this message for my family, my friends, my neighbors, and for you. Disclaimer: The Truth is holy. Holy means sacred place or thing; dedicated. The Truth is sacred. The truth is a place (i.e. a state of being or destination). The truth is dedicated (i.e. resolute, determined, unwavering, enthusiastic, keen, earnest, passionate, fervent).  One thing The Truth is not, is indifferent. The Truth is hardcore. The Truth takes a clear stance and holds its ground. With that being said, the foundation has been poured for me to move to the next word.

The Truth is sending  or has sent a mighty wind. Wind is a resemblance of breath. Breath comes from someone that is living. Wind can be sensible or it can be violent. But it is an expression and function. The intent of this message will only be known to the person who receives this wind.

Back to the word I heard - “inappropriate.” I was sent on a windy road which led me to uncover the origin of the word molest. Molest is a 14th Century word that means to trouble, grief or vexation (annoyance, irritation, exasperation, anger, crossness, disgruntled, bad mood, aggravation). It derives from an Old French word molester and from a Latin word molestare meaning to disturb, trouble, annoy,’ from the word molestus meaning troublesome, perhaps related to moles or the word mass which is a burden or barrier. Molest as we know it today, relating to sexual assault did not come into use until the 1950.’s

This leads me to the point. All of the above-referenced manifestations (infestation of man) are bad fruits; or bad spirits. Fruit is what you enjoy, what you produce, what you develop, and what you use; its hanging off of you for all to see. Matthew 7:16 (7 meaning complete: 16 meaning love) says that you can identify them (i.e. people) by their fruit, that is by the way they act. Trouble, grief or vexation (annoyance, irritation, exasperation, anger, crossness, disgruntled, bad mood, aggravation) are manifestations (infestation of man) of a spirit that has not received The Truth. “They come out at night, snarling like vicious dogs as they prowl the streets.” (Psalms 59:6). The enemy or spirit that is against The Truth comes out during dark times and like a vicious dog, it prowls. When a being is “prowling” it is  searching in stealth mode (i.e. in secret).

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil (an adversary against The Truth). He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour (i.e. consume, destroy, engulf, swallow up, take in greedily with the senses or intellect). Devour comes from the Latin word devorare which means to swallow down. Dark spirits swallow you down. Dark spirits are on the prowl to consume or swallow down The Truth.

This spirit that is against The Truth can enter a dwelling place (i.e. where you live; your place of being or living). Dwelling comes from the Old English word dwellen which means to mislead or deceive. Originally it meant to make a fool of or lead astray. There are other languages from which this words derives that define dwelling as delay, sleep, to stun, perplex, out in trance, or stupor, madness, error, heresy, linger, dwell upon which ultimately lead to defining the word to mean “to make a home.” These bad fruits or spirits enter a person’s home, place of being or place of living by the vehicle of secrets. The Truth is an open, shining light on a path illuminating the way to stay straight, pure and certain - holy.

I am deeply humbled to share this. But this is the second of 3 instructions or mighty winds the The Truth has asked me to deliver to people who would inherit freedom from captivity; or who are being hindered. Although these occurrences happened somewhere between birth and 8 years old, The Truth sent a messenger to open the blinds so I could see my way clearly. This is why The Truth keeps reiterating that we are all connected. Your character infraction or mine (sin) affects us all. No one is isolated from the penalty of sin. Each character infraction, no matter what kind has the same penalty. If you lie, steal people, things or or trust, cheat, curse your parents, sleep with animals or many people, have orgies, fondle children, abandon your children, deny your children, sacrifice your children, murder anyone, watch porn, strip, have affairs, eat too much, drink too much, love money, hate people, had abortions, had sexual or inappropriate relations with people of the same and/or opposite gender, rearranging your originally created gender, dabbled with witches and cults, cast spells on someone, communed with evil spirits of any kind, mediums, psychics, magicians and anything that is associated with darkness, The Truth says the penalty for ALL character infractions (sin) is death. It can be spiritual and or physical. Everyone’s brand or choice of darkness may look a little different. But The Truth maintains that darkness is darkness. In The Truth there is only light. There is NO, absolutely and resolutely NO darkness in the holy presence of the Truth. The Truth is firm. The Truth maintains today in the year 2019, tomorrow and in the future. The Truth does not and will never change. So, if The Truth will not change; then we must.

When I was a little girl a spirit came into my home. That spirit was unclean. It was carrying some kind of darkness. That darkness manifested (infestation of man) itself in the form of inappropriate touching. I was inappropriately touched by someone my parent was seeing. I was inappropriately touched by a neighbor and two cousins. I did not say sexually assaulted. Inappropriate is inappropriate; just as two female dogs humping one another. I never said anything until yesterday at the leading of spirit of The Truth. Since we were children, I figured maybe these were just normal childhood occurrences of exploration. So I never thought too much about it. Maybe I was desensitized. In my childhood mind I thought it was normal. That would then manifest (infestation of man) itself in my interactions with people later in life that would cause me to adjust to accept some things as “normal.” I explained what happened to my family and then went on to explain the things manifested (infestation of man) itself in me inappropriately touching my family members: brother, cousins, neighbors kids, and eventually inappropriate touching of someone else’s spouse, not once but twice. I did not say I sexually assaulted anyone. Inappropriate can be vast. It can be humping each other like two female dogs mimicking the actions of a sexual encounter, it can mean hearing or seeing something lude, it can mean fondling, kissing, simply just doing or saying things that are simply not appropriate because you are a child and you are experiencing them with a family member. Inappropriate behavior of any kind is unacceptable to The Truth, and The Truth does not care how long it’s been since the character infraction-sin. He wants it lifted up to be visible to the light so you can see it clearly. So everyone can see it clearly. This is transparency. This is light. This is the essence of the character of The Truth. Once that occurs there is no longer a doorway for a spirit that is dark or a spirit that is against The Truth to “dwell” in you. The secret is out. The dark spirit has no power to destroy you, your life or your family. This is what it means to be pure in heart (mind) and to have a clear conscience before The Truth. You can’t shame a person who has already lifted up the sin to be visible by a transparent light. The Truth says there is no condemnation, shame, guilt or heavy spirit about your character infraction - once you lift it up to the light of transparency and out of the torment of secrecy. Most importantly, it is out the enemy’s reach to use it against you.

I feel the deep heaviness of my childhood character infraction - sin. Yes, I was a little kid, but I still feel the weight of darkness. This is what The Truth wants to deliver us from. I have labored in following The Truth’s instruction to me and my pilgrimage. I wish I could articulate how tired my soul is from doing this work. It’s so tired I don’t have the capacity to care about whether or not I will look bad or raise eyebrows. I am submitted to The Truth. The Truth costs. It is not cheap. It will never be cheap. But I am running a race to honor the true intentions of a high and elevated way of living and thinking. It is not popular and it is not easy. But I live in love, and this is a requirement or mandate of love - The Truth.

I ask for your forgiveness. I ask for your mercy in violating trust. I pray my character infraction - sin has not caused you or your child to dwell in torment because of my ignorance. When we sin, we are acting either in willful intention or ignorance. I don’t want to be ignorant so I search and thirst for The Truth in ALL things. I pray this does no cause upset to your home. The Truth knows me, and he knows you and your child. He is faithful. He is just. He is our high and lifted up Father/Creator that is living, thinking and doing things on another level. This is what we all are striving for - heaven. Heaven is an elevated way of thinking, living and doing on another level. May you find your way to the Father/Creator/The Truth to live on earth as it is in Heaven.

And so it shall be.

Be careful to obey all the commands I am giving you today. Then you will live and multiply, and you will enter and occupy the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors. Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands. Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy 8:1-3 New Living Translation
